We’re Evelyn & Art Hernandez, We are the parents of four beautiful Girls from Camarillo California. Art has been in the produce industry importing Avocados since 2010 and Back in 2012 Art started buying fresh Fruits and Vegetables from Local Farmers in Camarillo and Ventura County so we could save money on fresh, high quality produce. Since we would buy in bulk we invited our extended family, then friends and family friends and friend friends, as word continued to get out almost by accident The Fresh Produce Box got started. Our local community has grown to over 3,000 members from, all sharing the same value and benefits by supporting small local businesses!
Since then we’ve made it our own personal mission to continue to share that value and bring Fresh Produce Boxes to as many people as we can in Ventura County and surrounding areas. Over time, we’ve developed relationships with local growers and businesses, as well as reputable importers so that we can pack your produce boxes with the freshest most delicious produce.
